Sizing
These shoes styles are generous in depth and width, so they may not fit quite the same as some of your favorite brands. We urge you to double check your measurements against our size chart to ensure you're ordering the best size for your feet.
Kids to Adults & Unisex Size Conversions
There is an overlap of sizes from kids to women, and women's equivalent sizes for our unisex styles. Please reference the information below.
Kids 4 = Womens 5 Unisex 5 = Men's 5 = Womens 6
Kids 5 = Womens 6 Unisex 6 = Men's 6 = Womens 7
Kids 6 = Womens 7 Unisex 7 = Men's 7 = Womens 8
AFO's
Due to many different orthoses on the market, we recommend the Excursion EE+ as it provides greater depth and width than regular Excursion and accommodates braces easier. Depending on the placement of hinges on an AFO, the Voyage may be a better fit with its lower profile upper. It's important to note that while our shoes have successfully fit AFO's for hundreds of customers, they are designed to accommodate a variety of challenges and may not work for every AFO. we are constantly striving to improve our product offerings for AFO footwear.
Laces
While our zippers allow for 'setting and forgetting' the laces on our shoes provide adjustability across the instep thereby increasing the overall volume within the shoe, for greater accommodation of larger orthotics, AFOs, and swelling. Simply adjust them one time or as needed and enter/exit through the portals be zippers.
Widths
All shoes adult styles are manufacture in wide widths; we do not have shoes in medium or narrow widths. Our Excursion EE+ is a double wide for those who need it. Our children's developing feet need greater width to expand and grow and all children's shoes are also manufactured in wide widths. Please reference individual sizing charts by style to find the best fit for your feet.
